some back story
before this
I was raised in a very small northern Albertan small town called Manning but moved away shortly after graduating high school. Through all of the transitions early 20s have to offer, I lived in areas across the Peace country before landing more permanently in Grande Prairie where I obtained my Bachelors Degree in Education.
first comes love...

In the next breathe I met my husband and we welcomed our first child. A whirlwind of purchasing a home, having our wedding, and welcoming two more children has encompassed our whole world. And comes with it, the priority to spend as much time with our children as we can when they are small. Having babies ignited a burning desire to have my own professional level camera. My father passing was the gasoline, that made the purchase of my camera happen.

the business launch
October 2025
The Teddy Bear Picnic that launched my business happened as I ended my maternity leave with my third baby. It was such a beautiful experience. Since October I have had immense business growth, and also very heartbreaking failures. Receiving overwhelming kindness in the face of learning has been a blessing I meditate on frequently, using the motivation it brings to further my growth in personal development and business development. It is incredibly exciting to be on this journey of photography and I cannot wait to see where it will take me... or should I say where it will take US!
risk vs. reward
Its always a risk to start a business. To go "all in". However, the rewards I've felt and received since making this shift at the beginning of 2025 has changed me. I would do it for free if emotion could pay my bills. So while I'm over here dreaming big, making huge plans, scaring myself daily, I am always reminded of the risk vs. reward. So even though I am still building the dream at the risk of failure, at the very least, I'm so proud of the collection of beautiful photos I have in my portfolio and of my own children. One of the most beautiful gifts I can offer this world, is to use my creativity and continue to capture more photos. My deep hope is that you'll come along and support the journey.
